Just some small animation I did to add to the Delura kickstarter video. Work in progress. Listen to me whine and cry OMG so EMO!

This terribly done video is a draft for our Kickstarter pitch (with black screens being placeholders for content).

Taben, after cringing from the badness of this video agreed to help me make it better. The kickstarter video is going to be critical if we want even a small chance to make even our 6.5k goal possible.

In the meantime, feel free to laugh at my fake hand gestures, my repeated "chopping" motions and overall mechanical personality. This is what happens when you take a 3d designer/programmer and make them do promo work!

When I originally accepted help for the Delura project, I made certain it was clear that the volunteers knew that it was a "no profit" project.

Well I kind of lied to them, I have plans to make this into a big deal. I wanted to filter out all of the people who weren't really interested in the project itself because over the years i've gotten dozens of offers to help, and many of those offers fell flat as soon as I told them no money was involved. I want people who actually like fantasy sci-fi on the Delura team... it just makes sense doesn't it?

This is the video message I sent to them all, which i've made public:

I revisited the sketchpad, forfeited sleep for the night and modeled a new title concept. Eh?

Easier said than done., I have some issues with the current design shown below that really needs to be resolved.

More work done on the delura.tanadrine.com website; lots of things have been changed/moved around.

The credits page took a while to do. Partly due to the tables, and partly because I had to figure out how to format everything (as in, how should I display who contributed what? and where? Should I lump all the non-production stuff in its own category? independent of all the episodes? etc). Since this is a webseries, I never really felt the typical movie roll credit format fit well into describing who did what... it is too impersonal and vague.

Been doing some reconstruction for the Delura webseries official website in preparation for the kickstarter we're planning to do in the coming week. It is a lot of work, but someone has to do it! Did I mention I absolutely hate doing web design?

I'm working on website updates in preparation for our kickstarter, and i've also been doing some promo outside of Newgrounds while as well via facebook (targeting anthro and sci-fi communities) so we'll see how it goes.

I fixed the broken comic links on our webpage, and I'll be re-doing the website navigation pretty soon here.

I'm also working on just getting the site updated with more info about the Delura universe.
