Haters will hate! But yeah, I'm not really big on the furry fandom myself for obvious reasons. I just do my thing and people can label it what they want.
The nice thing about stuff like this is that you aren't restricted on what you are allowed to portray. There's no fat bald guy standing behind you saying "hmm... that might be a little too adult-oriented" or "We can't have blood and gore here... we need to keep this show children-friendly". Fuck that!

The female is a Brakkian: http://delura.tanadrine.com/?page _id=583 , Swami is just a run of the mill "Morph", or Anthro (probably some horribly bastardized mix of random genetic stuff... I never really established what the hell he was).
As for Brakkians, to put it simply they are beings of Light that inhabit and animate objects, either organic or inorganic, and control them. This is what is termed as a "guise" in Delura.
They are extremely fragile creatures, so it is rare to see a Brakkian in its pure form. "Food" in Brakkian and Lugarian cultures consists of siphoning energy from sources... either from living things or artificial structures (IE: Energy discs). Obviously, siphoning from living beings is considered the most desirable (though often looked down upon), so some Brakkians like the one shown in the comic have put extensive work into trying to emulate what is attractive to the race they choose to disguise themselves as. This increases the chances that the Brakkian will maintain enough close contact to Siphon from and eventually kill the being by sucking them dry.

I know you just got a new PC, but would you take another upgrade if you had the option?
I feel I have a pretty decent rig for Delura now. The next hardware upgrade desired is a GPU as i'm currently using a Geforce 9800 GT. A good rig doesn't replace the need to learn the advanced visual tools though; it's something I never had access to before.
More upgrades aren't a priority right now, but I'd also like to get the latest version of Lightwave as the one I'm using is about 4 years outdated. The focus is going to be on software over the next few years.
Still a few steps away from an A rating. :P
Heh. I think I'll let the pros handle the A-rated stuff, this is as probably as close to an A rating as i'll get with our content.
