Happy dead bird day! For anyone who's REALLY bored, I figured I'd do a news post.
There's a series i've done for a while that revolves around my experiences with 3d production and my journey to become better at it. Here's an embed of the latest one published half a year ago. If you're curious about earlier installments, just check out my YouTube channel.

Skype and Google Docs/Drive works great for collaboration; the realtime, multi-user editing is great for sharing ideas or working on a script together with my team.

I am on Skype, so I at least got that covered. I'm still the only full time guy on the project though, so things are still coming along pretty slowly. Dropbox is what we're using to share files as needed at the moment.
Some time after I made this video I did create the developer forums over on the Delura website which contains the task list for everything we're doing at the moment. The advantage is that volunteers can choose what they want to do from a list instead of just being given a task. It seems to work quite nicely, though after I finish 005.03 it is going to get some love in the organization/sketch department (it'll also be easier as the forums were actually made in mid-production). I also want to put in revenue share incentives by placing a % value on every single task that is required to complete an installment. There's a lot of stuff that is going to be happening with Delura early next year, that's for sure.
