Stupid step mine. It always killed me!!

I like the painted style. Simple paint strokes turn into gorgeous highlights and shadows.

Impressive shading and detail. The shoulder outline really sticks out though and could have used some smoothing out to give it a less 2-dimentional feel to it. Also, the bloom effect seems kind of thrown on there and abruptly gets cut off towards the top of the figure's head. I can also see the brush strokes just below the eye in the bloom effect, it just sticks out too much.

Hope this helps, overall a pretty good piece, just needs more polish.

I like it, and it works very well as a poster. Interesting shading you utilized with your 3d models... it almost looks like a mixture of watercolor and dry paint. It gives the whole piece a nice raw art feel that I can't quite describe.

Great work given the timeframe in which you made it. It shows how even simple lines and colors can add power to a drawing.

A badass painting. I especially like the haze of the lighting you captured to the right of the picture, it adds so much atmosphere.

I like the design and the texture detail. It retains a simplicity factor that I like.

For this piece to be better (even in animated form), it needs some better color composition. The silhouette of the figure just blends into the background way too much. So, work on lighting!

Ill keep that in mind for the next 3d project I do, first time I have ever done a 3d animation to this extent. So much left to learn lol need more time!

Heh, an interesting thing about this pic's thumbnail on the front page: a lot of the images above this one are mugshots... so I saw a few interesting combinations that almost made a complete picture!

Anyhow, I like the style.
