I'm still a big fan of AMD and Asus, and think it's a good and economic choice... memory was missing from the list. Would the SSD have the OS on it?

SSD would contain all of my programs; it would not be used for storage. I don't see how I'll be able to budget a decent intel system for $750, but I'm still going to explore that today just to put it on the table.
